If you require urgent medical assistance or advice that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please hang up and dial 111. Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles (although pay-as-you-go mobiles must have at least 1p credit).
If you have a life threatening medical emergency please dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.
MINOR ILLNESS & INJURY CLINIC
(Telephone Appointments Only)
The Minor Illness & Injury Clinic is currently available via telephone. This clinic is a Nurse lead telephone triage service for registered patients at Stour Surgery. We can arrange a telephone appointment for you, and the Nurse will call back between 8.30am - 10:15am. The following are NOT APPROPRIATE and we respectfully ask you not use the clinic for:
An ongoing or longstanding problem
Chronic illness which your GP is treating you for
Prescription requests
BP, HRT, pill checks or commencement
Test results
Dressing changes
Dental problems (please refer to your dentist)
Sick certificate
Moles and skin lesions
Diarrhoea and vomiting
Viral illness for less than 5 days (Please see pharmacist)
Our staff will be happy to help you if you are unsure. Please ask Reception.

Patient Online Access
If you would like to use online access for renewing your prescription, booking a call back with your GP or viewing your medical record please complete the registration form. When handing this form in to Reception, please ensure you have a form of photo identification.

If you find it hard to read our letters or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know by completing the attached questionnaire. Help Us to Help You
We want to know if you need a British Sign Language interpreter or advocate, if we can support you to lip read, use a hearing aid or communication tool or require information in Braille, large print or easy read.
