Support Your Surgery: Get Vaccinated with Us
Flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations at Stour Surgery
We invite all eligible patients to get their vaccinations with us. By doing so, you’re supporting Stour Surgery, helping us hire more staff and improve our services. With NHS funding cuts, your support is crucial to continue meeting the needs of our community.
Why Choose Us?
- Support Local Care: Your vaccination helps us reinvest in services.
- Better Services: More staff means better care for you.
- Community Strength: Together, we ensure everyone gets the care they need.
Why Vaccinate Now?
- Effective Protection: The flu vaccine works best in the first three months and lasts at least six months.
- Winter Protection: Early October vaccinations cover you through the winter months.
Protect Yourself and Others
- Book your appointment today by speaking with our friendly reception team and help us continue providing excellent care.
Parking safely at Stour Surgery
We’d like to remind all patients and visitors to take extra care when using our car park. Due to its size and layout, it’s important to remain cautious, especially when navigating tight corners or passing pedestrians.
Recently, there have been several incidents where vehicles have been damaged, which could have been avoided.
Please drive slowly, stay alert for pedestrians, and be mindful of other vehicles. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend allowing extra time to find a space. Your cooperation is essential in ensuring the safety of everyone using the car park.
Save Money with an NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate
If you frequently pay for NHS prescriptions, an NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC) can help you save. Instead of paying for each prescription individually, a PPC covers all prescription charges for a set time, making it a cost-effective option if you need more than one prescription per month.
It covers items like Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), regular medications, and treatments. You can apply online, over the phone, or at some pharmacies. Simply show your PPC when collecting your prescriptions, and you won’t have to pay each time.
For more details or to apply, visit the NHS website or speak to a pharmacist.
